I ordered a wig on ebay. Ebay said it would come in two weeks. I had two weeks and 2 days until I needed it. I got an email from the seller (like four days after I paid) saying that I’d get it in around a month. I freaked out and started researching other wigs. Then it came the next day.
But I just got a netbook off of amazon, so that was expensive…

Ebay sucks, basically. I never bought stuff from it but my dad wanted to buy a laptop. He paid like 350 $ for it (it was a used one). And he just needed it for some IT stuff(don’t ask me, I don’t know.). But anyways it took somewhere around three weeks to ship and when it arrived the laptop was locked. Per password. That’s what I call an epic fail.

Yeah, I bought all of the seasons of Doctor Who on eBay. When they came, all of the discs were in the wrong boxes, there was a complete mess of glue gun strings in it, it looked like the disc labels were printed off a home printer and they didn’t actually work on my laptop…
I emailed them asking for a refund, had to ship it back, and then never got my refund. So I emailed them again asking where it was, and they were like, “Oh, we never got the DVDs back so we can’t give you a refund.” Ugh.

I had a bad first experience with ebay. When my phone died before I could get a new one for renewing my contract, I ordered one for $20. It was several years old, but I figured it would do the job. Except that it wouldn’t turn on. It took forever to get to me, so as soon as I got it, I was so relieved that I gave him good feedback before I checked to see if it worked. Luckily, when I showed up at Verizon in tears, the clerk found the same phone in the recycle box and traded me. Tears help.

well i dont buy stuff on ebay but my cussiens husban dose and he once got coned he went to buy this game frome ebay or somthing payd 30 somthing do;;ers for it said it was bran new and said it was from texes then then three wecks later he dicided it wasent coming so he went and bought the game than next mont he got it but it was for the wrong seystem and the return adress was form china so he decided to trade it in and it turns out it was fack so i think he git a refuond not shure

And I bought a $50 star wars book off ebay about 4 years ago. (this was before I had discovered the book depository)… and… it never came. I was very sad. But about a month after I realised it was never coming, It was on said for $9 at a local bookshop. So all was good.

I once bought a lion king dvd off of half.com. It took the seller two weeks to send it, and then he sent it to Texas, which is nowhere near where I live. He also didn’t communicate at all about it, but I did eventually get my dvd after emailing him and the site. I think that was also the first time I ever ran into any problems with online purchases though.

I’ve never had any problems buying stuff online, but I’ve never bought much. The most expensive things I’ve got have been with Amazon gift certificates. That’s how I got my Flipcam, which was £100.

Haha I once bought I snowboard for like $100 and the guy I bought it from wanted more money to ship it after I’d already paid. On top of that he took like two and a half weeks to send the stupid thing. I agree stupid people should not be allowed to sell things on ebay.
